History and Longevity

The first summer without Ed, the Patriarch of our family.  It was special in many ways, it was making new memories, it was finding out how it all could possibly get done without Ed at the helm.  But family and friends all stepped in to make it work even though it was bittersweet.

It was the summer of "Under New Management" as Michael, Megan, Steven, and Nora started taking over the tasks.

Much work and activities were accomplished.    Tons of tree trimming was accomplished by the people mentioned above as well as Greg, Terri, Chris, David, Mike, Jenny, Ben, Elgin, Pam,  Peter,  Rita, Pat, and many others.  Lots of good fishing, with a record number on the List.

A beautiful new launch ramp was installed which is much safer for boaters and swimmers. Upgrades to the boat house are in discussion stages.   Other new and exciting things are being discussed for the future.
This is the way to vacation.  Floating in the lake or boating on the lake.  Either way, a great time was had by all.
Cleaning fish on Opening day of Bass fishing ......
So we can all enjoy our annual Fish Fry.  Fish can't get any fresher or tastier.

Megan trying out the Kubota for the firrst time
How many people does it take to replace a tracker tire?  Three or 4 actually as I was "kabitzing" and taking pictures and there was another man in the background offering advice
Michael and Megan putting together a new toy box at the sandbox/tetherball court.
Boating to the Opincon for ice cream is a great treat  . . . for our group. . .
. . . And for the "Davis" family
A campfire at The Cedars is always the best.
