Ben announced that now that he was 11 and a straight "A" student, he felt it was a "right of passage" that he learn to drive the golf cart. So "Uncle" Greg gives him a few lessons. Ben is thrilled and can't wait until he can "solo."
Garbage collection 3 times a week and Ben and Elgin like to help Uncle Ed.
Jeannette and Jessica love being at the lake this summer. They went swimming, boating, and floating around with Mom, Myra.
Now, are these teenagers "goofing off?" No, they are on a mission to move picnic tables so we can have a "community meal." More fun at the lake. Most of these kids have grown up together coming to the lake every summer to renew friendships.
The annual question--Is this a tetherball court or a sand box? Either way, kids seem to gravitate to it.
If you want to play horseshoes, you have to rake up the boxes first. Then the cousins can have a game.
Now this is what I call child labor. Where are the authorities?

"Gus" the heron became a frequent visitor to "Lloyd's Cottages" this year. He was very well fed. Garrett, with the help of Peter, tries to catch some dinner for "Gus."
