The weighing in "ceremony" is almost as important as the actual congratulations and picture taking of the fisherman and the fish.  Many people gather around in great expectation.
Ed, with his old baby scale, is the "official weigher."
And this year's winner is:
Lynne Warner with a 4 lb 14 oz Largemouth Bass.  Runner up is:  Rita Shea with a 4 lb 11 oz Smallmouth.  The ladies have it for this year!!
Jim Kemp was the only other person to break the 4 lb mark this year with a 4 lb 1 oz Largemouth.
Pat Shea has a 3 lb 15 oz Smallmouth.
David Dorsey made the list twice.  Here he is with a 3 lb 13 oz Largemouth.  He also caught a 3 lb 1 oz later in the summer.
A first time visitor to Lloyd's Cottages, Jason Marucci caught a
 3 lb 9 oz Largemouth.
Lynn Oblas was so excited to make "THE List" and to catch a Bass bigger than Mike's.  Her's is a 3 lb 12 oz Largemouth.
The seven Shea brothers visit us in the Fall every 2 or 3 years.  This year several of them made the list and watch Ed carefully as he weighs them in.  The brothers come from Iowa, Nebraska, California, New York, and North Carolina.  What a great reunion for them.
Jim Shea weighs in with a 3 lb 8 oz Bass.
We were happy to see Bruce Thorn catch a nice 3 lb 8 oz Bass.
One of 2 Smallmouth Bass Jack Shea caught.  He is on the list with a 3 lb 7 oz and a 3 lb 3 lb 4 oz.
Rebecca McGilvery beat her dad and her brother by making the list again this year. She caught this 3 lb 7 oz Bass on Opening day.
Grandson # 1 (by age, he's 16) Michael Dorsey caught a 3 lb 6 oz Smallmouth Bass on Opening weekend.
Bruce Samson made the list when he came up in September to help us with some dock pulling and other odd jobs.  This one weighed in at
 3 lb 7 oz.
Will Dierwechter says he never can relax on his annual 2 week vacation until he makes the list.  Sorry to put so much stress on you Will.  This year he made it with a 3 lb 5 oz Largemouth.
The "head of the household" Ed caught 2 Bass that qualified this year.  Here he is showing off a 3 lb 5 oz.  He also caught a 3 lb 0 oz one.
Grandson #3 (by age, he is 13) caught a  3 lb 4 oz Largemouth.  This year all 3 grandsons were in great competition with each other.  What fun.

Tom Smarsh beat out his brother and other 2 friends with a 3 lb 3 oz Largemouth.  Maybe next year Eric, Jeff & Rick will join him.
Great catch for Greg Lloyd this day.  His  3 lb 2 oz Largemouth is the only one that officially made the list, however.
Brian Lloyd, grandson # 2 (by age-he's 14) had a good year.  He loved making the list 2 times.  Here he is with a 3 lb 1 oz and a 3 lb 0 oz.
Mike Oblas caught his 3 lb 1 oz Largemouth on his second trip to the lake this year.  His incentive was that Lynn was already on the list.
The first time David Barr ever did any fishing while at the lake, he worked hard trying to make the list.  He caught this 3 lb 1 oz Largemouth in September.
This is one of many, many Bass that Tom Livesey and his buddy Kerry Miller catch when visiting us in September.  They catch and release so many that he forgets to come in and have them weighed.  He finally brought this 3 lb 1 oz Largemouth in.
Mike Shea brought in this 3 lb 1 oz Largemouth while here with his 6 brothers.
Honorable Mention:  # 1 (and only) Granddaughter, Alaina Lloyd, 11,  caught a
2 lb 15 1/2 oz Largemouth.  No special treatment here.  She did not make the list.
Martha Hofmann was so excited about her pike, we just had to include it here.
What's that Bill?  We know you put him back to grow up but what an "embarrassment!"  Just because your daughter made the list, this does not count.
